I am under the impression that MP Prime was closer to 1:23 scale.

Nissan just unveiled the GTR Spec-V at the Tokyo Auto Salon a few days ago so it would not suprised me if this was linked to the new model as it comes in a new pearl black colour

i remember when they released the SDCC nemesis prime exclusive alternator people paid 50 bucks for it so i don't see what the big deal is.

While I am very excited about these things and hope we get a full line rather than just prime and meg- these do have one unfortunate difference from the alt/bt's besides size (although it is probably size related). In the majority of the vehicle shots we've seen the car seams don't seem to line up quite right. So these do seem to be to small for their own good.

 

Most of the alt/bt's had enough tolerance in their joints and seams to fit together very neatly. So I have a feeling the alt/bt's will have nicer car modes than the alternity line despite it very much following the same pedigree.
