... I think I can count on one hand the number of people who love Armada Hot Shot.

I like him now.

Not too impressed... the design seems slopped together and is quite generic & borish (surprisingly more so than the Jetfire/Jetstorm designs). Colors are a little wacky... as are the helmet & the He-Man/S&M chest strap thingy. Toss this one back in the water.

He's had the S&M chest thing back in Armada.

For the record, it's meant to be a racer's harness.

he looks like he did in TF armada with that black visor on his head.

Can the name "Autobot Hotrod" be used?

That design in the middle of his chest also looks like an Energon chip from TF Energon.

I think I may be a bit behind on my reading these boards recently... but, WTF? Why do they have to put this character out? I mean hey, they already have BB and apparently Hot Rod on the way too. I can just see the animated scene with all of them standing next to one another now...

I trust :animated enough I guess to give him a chance as a character.

I think you're just looking for reasons to hate this. Cause his proportions are pretty standard for TFA, the arm length, body style, and legs are par-for-course with TFA designs.

He's pretty much straight-up Hot Shot.

nah... and I don't HATE it... it's just bland... nothing special... very average. I'm excited about Rodimus on the other hand....

I don't remember Hot Rod whining in every scene he was in. He was just more sarcastic and impulsive than Optimus Dull.
