I've been working on this gestalt between other projects. He's about 80% complete. Ran into some major difficulties with connections and weight issues. Figured I'd drop some pics here to get some opinions and / or feedback

 

Here's the head sculpt. I used a supreme ss head (casted by sculpt-bot) which originally was solid.

I hollowed it out and carved the eyes even larger to give him a more friendly look. There are LEDs on the inside of this head, and a small switch on it's back. Translucent paint will be added on the front of the eyes, once I decide whether to paint them red or blue.

 

I have some authentic G1 Defensor shields on their way to me in the mail...I will build his chest shield using those as a starting base.

 

 

I think it looks great F_R, of course..And I can't wait to see more! The only think I see of note..his upper thighs seem really small..He's very top heavy, to a smaller scaled thighs and lower legs..Does he support the weight well enough? That heads fantastic!

I've actually done something to the upper legs and thighs to give them more bulk. He supports the weight very well - very strong legs and feet on this guy.

Why is he B&W?

 

I like how you solved the Gheyness of the motorcycle! Is that forearm actually part of the figure or is it magic addon parts?

The forearms are "magic add-on parts" - I had to do it, with the amount of parts on the 2 bots/vehicles on the arms, the arms would have looked retarded being shorter. besides, I'd most likely add hands, right? so might as well make it look best I can.

who is the torso? is that an RID prime?

Actually, posting in B & W is a good idea for a wip. Pre-existing colours of toys before painted can slight one's opinion.

Exactly elrod. plus it's from my WIP shots that I paint my digibashes in photoshop. The torso is RID prime.
