As for Megatron I think the look of double swords is awesome. I don't mind so much that there might not be a fusion canon.

Maybe you know for sure he wont have a cannon since your from Japan (btw my FAVORITE country other then America), but if not, there's still a chance he may have one, removable obviously if he does at all. Maybe it stores under his carriage or on his back. :shrug

No, it's quite clear he has no cannon. It's all a dirty enforced rule by Hasbro upon poor, poor Takaratomy. That's the only way Takara would release it without such an important thing. Hasbro ruins it for the poor, mistreated collector once again!

he has 4 guns two in each arm if you look at the seats you can see they fold out just like on the convoy toy and folded out they would not be that much smaller then Magatron's gun in the G1 cartoon and given that he has 2 of them I'd say he's doing ok for fire power. (granted its still no BFG fusion cannon)

Nah, Megatron's arm cannon is powerful and it's a good display of power, both to the Autobots and his fellow Decepticons. It says, "mess with me and I turn you pile molten metal".

This still makes zero sense to me.

 

Should be great for hardcore collectors and toy model enthusiasts though.

 

I personally like practical, affordable Transformers.

He has the Swords and the canon.

 

Although just off the top of my head I can think of a few Fusion-Canon-less Megatrons other than this, RiD Megatron (Awesome), BW Megatron Aligator, BW Megatron T-rex(unless you count the head hand) BW TM Megatron, BW TM2 Megatron, BM Megatron (suck),EnergonMegatron (I think), Cybertron Megatron, (I think)... I'm sure there are more examples, Granted alot of them sucked, but I think we should be willing to accept something other than a G1 homage Megatron, it gets a little boring IMO*
