I like it...but then again, I'm sorta a fan of the Pretenders idea. (Yeah, the toys could of been better, but eh. It was G1.) Anyhow from a storyline perspective, and not a "let's sell toys!" perspective, if Teletraan-1 had realized that humans were the dominant life form instead of the vehicles, we'd be talking about a whooole different story right about now.

 

I look forward to it, but I hope they do it in a way similar to how the vehicles were handled in the first film. While watching the first film, I couldn't help but watch and be suspicious of any vehicle that showed up on the scene. (Like the helicopter that was supposed to intercept the Allspark. My brain was like "Don't do it, you dummy you! It's really a Transformer!" (I then followed it up with thinking, "Oh, Paranoia is fun." ) I hope I end up seeing various folks and start to wonder "Pretender! ...No? ....maybe?"

I could see Alice as a hologram hiding ravage inside, like a terminator, except that its all a mind trick not actual organic/sythetic stuff.

1) I agree for the most part but Pretenders was only horrible in the way it was pulled off. If they did it using a standard deluxe TF as the inner robot and gave the outer figure propper joints it would be a kick ass toy. I imagine this could be pulled off for about the price of an Ultra.

No, seriously. If it isn't handled like T3, I really don't want to see blood, guts, and gore in a TF movie. I'm not really good with that stuff.
