Incredible work there, mate! -Those paints are just Legendary! What kind of brushes / Paints / PSI do you use?

I use mainly enamel paints. Every part is prepped and primed with custom mixed krylon fusion through my air brush, then paint app'd over that. I use regular brushes, usually grab a few each week from michael's crafts. I think new brushes are key to a good paint job.

I want to have your INTERNET babies.

So was this a commission? How much would something like that run...? <_<

This one was sold on ebay.

Here's the link to the sale:

The winner was so pleased he commissioned a "limited run" Predaking (meaning he paid extra to make sure I make no more predakings like his)

I take commissions, contact me for details :)

So at what point when designing/building these things do you get that excitement--the "oh, this is gonna work!!" to the "Oh my this is going to look great!" kinda excitement..What stage does that normally kick in at?

I'd like to say in a preliminary concept sketch, but that's not true.

Usually nowadays with combiners, I put the parts I will use on my work table. when I take a break from painting or whatever I am working on, I give the engineering some thought, see what would work in my mind, then write it down. It's during the construction I find what does/doesn't work.
