jin satome all the way, this guy is amazing and needs to be working for hasbro in their retooling/repaint department. maybe then most hasbro repaints wont be cringe worthy.

 

i feel bad for the movie leader prime one.. it looks great, but i think most people are tired of the movie by now and wont vote for it.. but it is great.

 

cy-kill is awesome.

 

i like the robot mode for the fort max.. but the other mode seems forced and doesn't work that well in my opinion.

I voted Leader Prime - the amount of work on that thing is stunning!

 

Jin is all sorts of awesome but this is one of his more modest attempts IMO.

 

Cykill = :win but not nearly the amount of effort that went into prime.

 

Fort.Max - beautifully done - but the altmode is a bit odd. The figure doesn't do much for me anyway. I guess in terms of awesome work - it could go either way with Prime or Max but i guess the tie breaker here for me was the choice of character and mold.

Movie Optimus sucks.... no matter what you do with it (looks like a good job... but the design sucks from the begining). And Cy-Kill (or however you spell it)... nothing like turning a cool figure (like Oil Slick) into a gay figure... sorry but the getting rid of the Ram Skull, Mr. Freeze helmet and giving it an anti-asthetic paint job does nothing for me. Megatron looks good, but not nearly as crisp & clean as Fortress. Guess you know where my vote goes!

I've been sending PMs to mods all week about moving that custom out to the open (proper) forum, but heard nothing back. I hope next month he's nominated - took me a long time to create Menasor ;) thanks!

how about next month one of you start a "pimp your potential nominations" (or w/e) thread where they can all be listed for people like me (ie: was not going to work out who did what custom when whilst loading loads of big images) so we can nominate the ones we like?

 

i did ask if there was a list of potential candidates as i figured something like this would happen... but in all fairness the mods shouldn't have to do all the work... but neither should the voters!

 

so yeah pimp your work next month dudes & make it easier for the numerous lazy people here (me included)

Got another idea to toss into the tip jar. How about a custom uploaded during that month, automatically makes it entered into the contest? (i.e. If someone uploads a finished custom to the gallery in November, it's automatically part of the poll and doesn't need to be nominated.)
