Would love it this was a Masterpiece Grimlock.

 

Not because I want one, but because the angst would be mighty entertaining.

 

 

I'd have an angst rating of 9.6/10 if it MP Grimlock was a 16" backhoe. Of course my wallet would be 130-150 dollars heavier to offset that angst.

I think it's sort of funny that BBTS is speculating that it'll be bigger due to the price tag. I just think it's just them passing on the higher costs of doing business to us.

I'd much rather pay more for a larger figure than the same amount for a smaller figure with less metal and accessories that's the wrong color and stuff, FWIW. But I did anyway.

Same here. I never pay any more than $70.00 for any TF. If he were to come to the USA, he'd cost that much. That's why I don't import. The prices are jokes.

I don't know if I'd quite agree with that... Prime and Megs are the same height because come on, they gotta be the same height. But the seekers' size was in all likelihood determined by the length of their jet mode, which was the same (30cm) as the height of Prime/Megs' robot modes. The seekers were juuuust a bit short in robot mode, don't you think?

 

I'd anticipate that Grimlock is also this height in robot mode.

I think the shadow pic is just his G1 art, so you can't really base it off that.

Well, since Hasbro is giving me no Transformers to buy next summer, and possibly a small amount of 25th G.I. Joes, that money can go toward Masterpiece Grimlock.

Unless he's larger like in the cartoon, then I'm going to pass on that monster price tag.

 

Of course that actually might change once I see pics of him. :redface What can I say I've got a soft spot for the big goof.
