Hello all you veterans of making customs. I'm getting ready to start my first and was wondering how to go about it. I'm going to try and make a cartoon version of Galvatron. Will model paint work on a old G1 toy as it is basically plastic. Also do I need to sand of the come pices to make them metalic red. Please any help will do. Heack even if you want to poto shop one so I can know what I'm in for. Thanks :thumb

Does anyone else think Wildman is seriously ruining Dreamwave's streak of having fantastic pinup style art in the books? I never cared for them snatching up old Marvel artists and writers, when there are MUCH MORE TALENTED guys they can pick up right now....Look at this panel from WWI#6 that BWTF.com posted...Ya know, if that is what they call "professional" lineart, then every fan artist on this board must be ready for the big-time....It's sad to see the art go to this, especially on such a big title like WWI....

Hi guys. Only just got back on to the TF scene but already my collection is taking over my bedroom! The wife is doing her nut!!!!! Gonna take some foto's soon so you can all see them. Ok lads. I'm going to switch to adolecent mode for a moment and ask a question that I've been wondering myself. What is it about female transformers that interests fans, males in particular? For some reason ever since Arcee was introduced, I and many others I know have developed a fascination for her and other fembots. I'm not saying I'm infatuated with her or anything :tftongue But what do you all think causes this interest in the female transformer? Is it their style? Personality? Physique? I'm curious to hear what others of you think of this.

I'm just wondering what your thoughts are on this (stay with me): Generation 1 introduced the Autobots and Decepticons, as well as the familiar faction symbols. Then along came Generation 2 (a.k.a. G1 meets Rainbow Brite) and they still called them Autobots and Decepticons, but they altered the faction symbols. G2 was thus distinct as its own series. After that came Beast Wars, and the Maximals and Predacons (and new faction symbols). And Beast Machines introduced the Vehicons and gave us a new Maximal symbol. This lead us up to 2001. Then... Car Robots/RiD re-used the G1 Autobot symbol, as well as the Beast Wars Predacon symbol and eventually the G1 Deceptico…

so, with homage mania sweeping fandom. lets turn this idea on its head. What G1/G2 guys would be cool, repainted in later character colors? Like Sharticon, repainted as BM hammerstrike, or Predacon Razorclaw painted as Universe Razorclaw? Ideas?
