Usually, BotCon is a major event. However, this year it seemed to be tepid at best. The major announcements concerning Generations and Prime figures that was anticipated seemed to fall flat. There really didn't seem to be any major news generated this year. I'd be interested to hear from some folks that went to the show to see if there's a different take from the one I have.

Anyone care to take a guess at who this will be?

After 6 years of contributing reviews for TFormers.com, I have handed in my resignation. In the last year, my passion has waned a bit and I've found it harder and harder to do a quality review. I don't think it is fair to the fandom that I continue writing reviews when only half my heart is into it. I appreciate all the support that the members here have given in those 6 years. I am confident that someone will be able to continue providing the members here with quality reviews of your favorite figures. I will continue to serve as a staff member and moderator and am here to help where I can. Again, I appreciate all your past support.

Has anyone ever had to pay import fee's to get their stuff from robot kingdom? Because if I have to tack 150$ on top of what I pay them, then I would be better off to just buy the figures from bbts.

Hi, went rummage saleing this weekend and picked up a couple junker's. 1 of which was a TM Optimus Primal, and an Energon Megatron. I started on this last night, and I'll post pics of the wip later tonight, I could use some suggestions on the Tailfin/ booster/ Shield assembly. I believe I have everything else worked out, but I guess I'll find out when I work on it some more

Does anyone know of a good mold to kitbash a classics style Chromedome from? I can't think of one, and I wanna use the Headrobots Hothead headmaster for the head, so it would have to be Voyager scale or larger, possibly an oversize knockoff? If anyone knows if anything like that exists please let me know, thanks.

Alas, I am a dad and had to stop collecting :(. But no one said i couldn't drive a TF! :) What do you think? OJD

Botcon is officially under way. Who's coming to town? I just left Dallas this morning for work, but i'll be back in town at 1pm on Saturday.

Transformers made up of multiple alt vehicles. There are many examples of these "combiners" that aren't Gestalts; Omega Supreme, Magmatron, etc. What would happen if one of the vehicles was destroyed?

How do you feel about Transformers robots with human muscles & veins? Examples: Beastwars 2nd Galvatron. who has robotic round muscles & veins in his upper arms & upper legs. More Examples: the Beastwars & beastmachines toys,some that combined organic & mechanical parts into one body. other examples: those 1980's regular Pretender shells & those mega & ultra Pretender shells. My 2 cents: Persomnally I don't mind it,if it's done right & looks decent.
