Bay Area Transformers Fans

The guys at Super7 had a good time and said we could do it again. I'd like to hear your thoughts on the event and if makes sense to do it again. Would more notice and doing it on Sunday help those of you who could not make it this time?

You know, I just realized the other day this event will be on the 20th Anniversary of Transformers the cartoon showing on September 17th, 18th and 19th, 1984. Sooo, as an added bonus we will be serving birthday cake and punch at the swap meet to commemorate the date. And what's a party without prizes? Show up and put your name in a drawing for some cool 20th Transformers give-aways! See you all at the party on the 18th!

I found Grimlock (got the only one) on one of my really long drives to Windsor. I couldn't find Swindle, but I know that he's out there since a buddy of mine has found him. I was wondering if anyone knew any Bay Area toy shops that may have imported Galaxy Force figures... I'd like to actually get a look at the item before I shell out big bucks fot them. (I've tried all the usual suspects like Japantown Collectibles and Cards & Collectibles, but no dice....)

I've seen these for a long time and can't seem to find them for sale in stores in the Bay Area. Does anybody know where I can find other stores that sells them (but not online)?

Has anyone seen Nemesis Pime in the area? Supposedly they are hold them back till Xmas. Grrrr...

Picked up a couple things recently: TRU Colma has all the new Go-Bots with the clear plastic. They also have resupplied with Energon boxed items. There were quite a few Landmine's and a Jetfire or two. Also saw about 5 G1 Skids reissues and a couple of Dige and Skywarp. All I saw new at the two Targets was more Omega Supremes.

Look guys... can we, you know -- in the spirit of this being the bay area and all -- set up an Transformers co-op? You don't have to do house chores or anything, nor do you have to cook once a week... you just have to look out for your fellow TFans. Here's the deal. I know alot of you are looking for Prime, and when he comes out, Mirage. I've wasted *a ton* of gas and time looking for Prime and they've already gone through a case assortment with him. This may be the case with some Cybertron figs for some, for others it'll be something different. While having a sighting thread kind of helps, it's not really effective because by the time that you sit down at you…
