well... I had to do it. I came up with this idea on first day I started working on my classics Tracks. this is just a block of wood cut to size. sanded. painted. the tape deck is cut out of a toy dump truck. and inkjet stickers. the black part of the handle slides over to one side to reveal a hole for a hand. then you just slide the black part back. now I just need to figure out how I can make it transform into a 8 inch robot. enjoy!

Hey This is the guy who will stand over my alts as Alt Blitzwing. Lets just say that the binaltech project couldnt engineer a triple mode and they did a rush job on the hands (until i find some better ones). The tank turret will also soon sport a mace head to give him a bwarling weapon. Tank mode is pretty much the same, but the blue shot is now silver on the tank Regards JL

Big thanks goes to Wikkid for his WIP on this character in this scale and using MP SS as the base. I used a 1/72 scale mig-25 foxbat for the some of the plane parts. Mainly the nose/cockpit area and the fins. I had intended to use the horizontal fins and wings but had to regretfully remove those to make the transformation work. Instead I had to scratch build the wings that were a bit more toy accurate and less true life. The turret and some of the tank parts came from a 1/35 scale Mitsubishi Type 74 tank. I tried using the original wheels and treads but couldn't get them to work with the transformation. I tried and failed using 2 other forms of treads, finally settling on…

Blitzwing's wings can now rotate so they don't get in the way of arm articulation. View the Custom Gallery Here

This is not about kitbashing, per se but I suppose you 'bashers have had to shape plastic with heat, so I thought I could ask your expertise in my matter. I've got Energon Windrazor which has those weapon/foot/hand accessories. One of the connecting clips in one part is loose so that it won't hold the other part tightly. Now I know that by heating the plastic momentarily with i.e. a blowdryer it can be shaped. I also know that heating the plastic too long causes it to warp shapeless. So what would you consider a safe time and temperature that does the job but doesn't cause any irreversible. Thanks in advance!
