Revenge of the Fallen : Decepticon Rampage!Made a small mod to his arms giving him an elbow. Although close to his shoulder, I feel it represents the CGI and movie images of this guy better (long forearm) Rampage started as a yellow rampage. Commissioner wanted him in red. Painted in lacquers and detailed in enamels, signature frenzyrumble style with wear and tear and lots of layers and shades of dry brushing. Painted treads (and other softer plastic parts) with acrylic.View the Custom Gallery Here

  3. Started by Garage Mod,

This is the combined form of my ROTF Stunticons as Menasor. He is a bit freaky but not quite as beastly as ROTF Devastator! The first couple of pics show him without his weapons and the last 2 show him with his cannon and sword. He has actual fingers and a thumb to hold the sword with his left hand. The other arm has pincers but can transform to cannon mode too.The weird plug on Motormasters chest is where the mini-con plugs in and the wires to the shoulder are for the minicon to serve as a power source for the vampiric left forearm, Deadend. I wanted that chest-car thing to have a purpose. The legs are held on by 2 magnets in both cars and a magnet in both of the connector a…

  5. Started by Garage Mod,

What can I say? This is my favorite Bumblebee to date. Very accurate to his on-screen persona, it's an amazing figure.Prior to painting, I made some slight modifications to Bumblebee. I replaced the green LED in his head with a blue LED (not too easy) which required fully rewiring from the board. I also replaced his left hand with a fully articulated 4 digit hand, with wrist and 2pt. finger movement. Because his knees seemed to crap out on me (not too tight) I replaced the springs inside the ratcheting joint, ultimately making them tighter and holding him up better. I removed the faux fingers/hand on his right hand/cannon, and installed a translucent red part which appear…

  8. Does anybody know what brand/type of paint is the best for repainting Transformers action figures? I'm looking for one that does not chip or rub off when a particular repainted part of moves against an unpainted part of a figure and/or when you transform a repainted figure and that works well with a sealer.

  9. Started by Garage Mod,

I picked up ROTF's Reverb recently because I liked his scale compared to the rest of my guys. A tad big but hey, bikes can get pretty big. Anyway a little surfing later and I figured he would make a pretty good update to Override. 5 minutes later and a quick little head swap with Revoltech Rod and I was sold. I scavenged around in my weapons box and found two matching guns. That's it. A little mod work to get the guns to fit and paint. I used modelmaster enamels and acrylics and duplicolor automotive paints. The blue isn't a good match but this was all I had around. Just a quickie in between cure times on bigger bashes.View the Custom Gallery Here

  10. Chromedome was my only Autobot Headmaster. These guys were created using the very ones I owned from back in the day. Stylor was articulated with tiny ball joints from a mini neo-shifter. Chromedone inherited parts from the '07 movie Wreckage, Alternator hands, a Star Wars TF, Universe Cyclonus, a model kit for the control panel, and various Gundam parts. Stylor's head fits into a hole drilled into a bionicles ball and socket. This gives chromedome's head full range of motion. Paints were Modelmaster enamels and Tamiya acrylics.View the Custom Gallery Here
