Some repaints and minor tweaks to the official instructions off of transformers.com first up, energon whirl. TF Kitbashes you dreamed of doing but never created them. My short list is as follows: 1- I wanted to turn the Takara Brave MP King-Exkaiser into Rodimus Prime. I had/dreams plans to buying the toy then buying red or tangernine dark orange Rit color dye & color dying the parts orange & red. I got as far as buying the red color power dye. It turns out the actual Transformers Prime Arachnid toy was pretty terrible and nothing I tried could save her from being a pile of jointed polygons. So I did what any customizer would do in this situation, kept her head and tossed the body. Airachid would soon be reborn as 'Black Airachnid'. To do this I used the Beast Hunters Starscream mold and trimmed down most of the body spikes, wing hooks, and hollowed out more of the inner chest. Airachnid's head was modded to fit and suddenly the figure started to look more and more like her. She's a jet in this format and I still needed to incorporate the spider aspect. Here is my upgrade kit to turn the Transformers Prime Wheeljack mold into Transformers Prime Hot Rod! *Update* Version two of everything is ready to go. For the head I used two base models with slight variations which gives me a total of 8 different versions. I think this is a good way to give everyone something that fits their needs. Both of the base models have been tested using FUD. The ball joint was a little loose do to production but it was easily fixed with some clear nail polish. I started collecting movie toys for my son, then saw what you guys were doing with customizations and thought it was one of the coolest things I had ever seen.
