  1. Started by JCartwork,

I have always wanted to revive the G1 insecticons into articulated form ,so I decided to part my collection into this kitbash .Many famous kitbashers have attempt on this so I have a great chance to learn from them and revive my own insecticons into live .Started off with some articulated joints and it was kinda of fun during the process of making really enjoyed alot . My favourite character of all is shrapnel due to his ability to control other robots remote with his antennas.,took me quite awhile to complete this set on and off some period of time . I used very durable lacquer paint on its base coat and very reliable citadel paint on its detailing process . Here are…

Here is a papercraft model "repaint" of my BumbleBee model w/ a new head. Obviously modeled after the upcoming figure in the TFP:RID line. You can download it and other models from my blog for free ^__^ http://wulongti.com/blog/2012/05/03/custom-cradel-hotshot-little-roller/

Custom CRADEL for use with the print-n-play game Phantom Capsule http://littleroller.blogspot.com/ Based off of the Optimus in Transformers: Prime, this model comes with an optional battle mask, an option to have the chest open to reveal the Matrix of Leadership, 2 swords and 2 blasters. Build time for this guy runs about 2-3 hours I'd say. Grab the template and instructions from my blog here: http://wulongti.com/blog/2012/04/27/custom-cradel-optimus-prime/

  5. Started by puma,

Hey Guys. So i bought a bunch of these sets years ago to arm my Alternator figures and would like to paint the launchers to match their G1 counter parts. What kind of paint should i use and should i do some sort of clear coat sealant over it? I've never customized anything before. This is going to be a first for me. So any help will be much appreciative. Thanks

  6. Using a little modeling putty behind just in case, using my dremel, I carved out Optimus' face w/o his faceplate on. Then I took an x-acto knife and put his mouth on. Using some more model putty, I added the blue strips at the bottom of his chin and painted everything accordingly. Now he has a head for when he's not in battle.

  7. Here's a continued work in progress Jetwing Prime. This would include a fully detacheable Flight Tech and guns more details and pics here: http://www.transformerscustomtoys.com/custom-ultra-detailed-dotm-jetwing-prime/

A customized 18 inch Big Prime with fully articulated G system hands. Sorry about the crappy pics. Enjoy! :D More custom: http://www.transformerscustomtoys.com/

  9. After seeing this excellent custom from spoonman at TFW2005.com (http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/582655-animated-sludge-3-6-a.html)... I have been inspired to make one for myself in case Hasbro does not produce and release all of the Dinobots from Fall of Cybertron. But instead of giving him a fixed neck, I want to give him an articulated one and so far my best bet is the tail from either Beast Wars Transmetals Megatron or Armada Predacon (as seen in the pic below). After carefully taking apart and analyzing the tail of my own Armada Predacon, I found that the ball and socket joints of each segment are the same size. Therefore, I believe it is…

  10. Hey Guys, I've never ever done anything like this before but I'm looking to complete my first repaint of an energon Omega Supreme into G1 / Classics colours. I'm not after anything too fancy or weathering or extra shiny metal bits etc. Nor am I after anything that looks too cartoony, I just want to give him a new coat, just something basic that might look in place with regular hasbro classics figures. I've read lots of articles however they suggest different things and differing paints can anyone give me some advice on this and give me answers to any of the below? P.S. I live in the UK for paints and stuff 1. What sort of paints can I used most articles say i coul…
