JonRog1 Geesh .. ... sorry I spooked you. You're quite right, it is childish of me to defend my resume. But I have a.) a soft spot for that movie (THE CORE), and it was meant in good fun. A bit like "Don't make fun of this Hawaiian shirt, it's my favorite." It's my big-ass 1960's science hero movie, and I really don't care that it didn't quite catch on in theaters -- I love it so. And yes, the original pitch was polar magnetic shift. it did indeed change to superweapon during late stages of development. Nice catch. (Oh, and SAJse, terrifyingly, that is very close to how Virgil steered. They lasers in front also rotated through a limited angle, carving …

Grimlock is hardly out in stores and the good people at Hasbro are already reving their engine for a make-over. eBay seller KAYOTOYS has posed an auction with pics of an all new White Grimlock with classic Mustang styling and what looks to be a new head sculpt. Could this be Alternator Wheeljack? Check out the pics here Click Here To View The Gallery Edit: Whoops, those are the same pics in the auction, my bad :redface

Looking at an Ebay auction(coincedentally won by a Jaguaratron), I noticed that not only is the number system gone but the original box art has been replaced by that crappy Hasbro pic of the figure. I know Takara uses Pics of the toys on their boxes but at least they have style. The only reason I can see for this change is the fact that in the box art Windcharger is holding his "Shield" as if it's a weapon. I know it was a last minute change and they dont want another delay like Tracks but they could have at least took a new better pic of the bot. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=5938839137

I pre-ordered the TF Alternator Asst. 5 from Entertainment Earth, which contains Grimlock, Swindle and Meister. The original ship date was "November"...well, I just checked their site and the case is now on backorder with a ship date of Jan. 2005. I'm not sure if this translates to a later release of these Alts. in the US, but usually Entertainment Earth ships these cases just about the same time the figures make their first appearances on US shelves...
