I was a fan of the original TFers (now called G1) as a child. Like many I lost interest around the time the movie came out. I think the killing of Prime, combined with cheaper made toys, combined with a huge influx of tons of robots diluted and killed it. Sometimes it's better to have fewer characters that are better developed, than having a hundred thousand characters, just to make more toys. I got back into TFers 2-3 years ago with all the ALT/BT line. The fact they finally went back to 'reality' transforming, and (liek i wished G1 was) they were ALL cars - both autobots and decepticons - it was pure heaven. I still think the BT/ALT's are some of the best lines…

Monday night I went to what was once my local Sports Authority hoping to score an Armada Nemisis Prime. I arrived at the location only to be dissappointed because now the store is a Jo-Anne fabric, great... Pissed off, I decide to leave around the back of store, which dumps me out onto a little side street. Right across the street I see a huge Optimus Prime poster staring me in the eyes, wtf?!? Its a little store by the name of "Fantastic Games". I went in and about crapped my shorts when I saw the their TF's for sale. They have a very good selection of G1 TF's up to Head Masters. They have Takara re-issues from 0 and up, BT Deadend is $45 and lots more. T…

This little Decepticon, when not annoying the slag out of his team-mates, or causing confusion on the battlefield is either on-line or shooting around the galaxy, hitting all of the best collectible toy stores he can find. The prizes of his collection? Mint complete Generation 2 Defensor and Menasor. we have the first tfan tf :lol

We've seen 10 or more alt body styles since the line debuted, and they've all been symmetric, except for maybe a lopsided smirk. Would asymetric alts be an interesting addition, or would they be more difficult to engineer?

I got him today, and over all, I like and recomend him. I can't wait for the upgrade set too. He's a great figure, but I'm gonna run off some quick ups and downs. The Cons - Alt is lacking alot of the small details that his namesake had like the coiled fire hose and most definetly ladder. The stationary gun just isn't the same - The alt is to short, this figure should have been an Ultra. It's no where near as bad as Universe Galvatron, but size is just demanded here - The Clear Plastic. On the windshield it realy works. The clear headlights and side windows(more so the mirrors) just kinda make him seem blank in places, especialy with the painted black side w…

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/4919606.stm Well, most of us know that Takara and Tomy have joined forces. The new company has also mentioned that TFs will be more geared to the collector's (basically non-kid) market. So, this makes me really wonder about where TFs are going. Excluding the new TF movie inspired toys, will Hasbro follow TakaraTomy and focus TFs less on kids? Without the Japanese children's market I worry about a new cartoon series being released as well. Galaxy Force (both toys and anime) didn't do that well in Japan, and I have heard that the show is hard to find in the U.S. market as well. Thoughts?

Here are some of my ideas for Universe characters and the molds they can use... Grizzly-1 made from the Polar Claw Mold not looking like Barberiean, but better paint job Emirate Xaaron from G1 use the G2 Megatron Tank Mold; Emirate Xaaron Never Transformed so maybe use an action master mold...lol... Thunderwing from G1 who is a Future Shuttle the Energon Skyblast mold is perfect for this Insane Leader Include a Black Energon Spear? Lord Straxus from G1 is a Flying Gun perhaps have him use Clench's Mold it is a must to include an Energon Axe - Yeah ppl who say this is a Marvel Copyright, they used Jhaxius, so :-P Sharkticon from G1 is a Shark I am thin…
