An old story, hope we can finally make some sense out of it. Basically, we're dealing with the following items: 1. Clear Optimus Prime version 1 (Clear cab, clear accessories, clear Roller, ALL SOLID trailer, short Hasbro reissue smokestacks; Pics here). 2. Clear Optimus Prime version 2 (Clear cab, clear accessories, clear Roller, solid trailer with CLEAR interior parts and different stickers, short Hasbro reissue smokestacks; Pics here). 3. I've also heard of a THIRD version that comes with an ALL CLEAR trailer, but haven't seen any pics yet myself. 4. Chromed Optimus Prime (chrome cab, chrome accessories, chrome Roller, chrome trailer with chrome interior, LO…

I noticed an "M" symbol on one mini-spy when I was a kid, but I didn't know a few of the other ones hadthem too! I'm guessing it stands for "Microman" or "Minispy". However, If there is no reason, I might relate it to the "Minicon" faction in my own Tf Glossary. not directly, mind you, but in terms of Cybertronian transcryptial linguistics (like how the French "Amore" and "adore" are related, but not the same)

has anyone else noticed this? the more "MP" figs come out the les "MP"-like they look. I mean MP-01 was great, but he was too dark. MP-02 was way off in bot mode only since Magnus was always in his armor MP-03 had good jet mode, crappy colors MP-04 was good but still too dark MP-05 is fragile, ridiculously stupid to transform, horrible, stupid piece of Blot MP-06 has good colors(so far) but still all that crappy kible in bot mode Comments?

In the west, Hasbro released the Micromaster combiners as "Universe/Energon Micromaster" combiners, including the rare Japanese chase recolour of the construction team as Devastator. Now, I KNOW they are Micromasters by default and I KNOW they dont look exactly or transform exactly like their original "G1" selves. Also, I KNOW that you can also inferr that these are either alternate versions of the original G1 combines from "Universe" (a storyline where TFs from alternate realities come togther) or "Energon" (in Europe the toys were relaesd in Energon, itself an "alternate" reality, although maybe they should me Minicons?). Anyway, that aside, I was thinking that …

my friend just got me a loose galaxy force backguild figure for $10USD from a junk sale and he told me that at the sale he saw a loose grimlock ford mustang alternator (i think it's alternator because he said it's pretty light and no diecast) with the words NOT FOR SALE imprinted on the top of the car would you guys consider this to be a rare item and should he get it for the sake of collecting? and on a slightly related note....since the backguild figure i was given is loose i have no idea if the one i have is the hasbro version or the takara version. does anybody know the differences between the 2 so i can figure out which one it is? the only thing i know so f…

Maybe I'm a moron and this is something that has been made plain already, but if not- is anyone else getting the feeling that although these "Real Gear" figures are being marketed as a part of the TF movie line they don't actually apear in the movie at all? They don't feel like the other confirmed movie designs (thankfully, they feel more like updated generation one type figures) and the ones that have picture screens utilize animated type pictures rather than images from the movies. Not to mention the fact that they apear under the completely seperate sub- group called "Real Gear". Am I way behind on this or does anyone else have any thoughts. mike

Okay, so I made you looked. I was shopping around for die cast model cars and came across a Lamborghini Countach 5000 S and the Transformers Autobot "Sideswipe" came to mind. Man I love the details on this die cast model car. That said, I wonder what would happen if the die cast makers jumped on the Transformers band wagon and make the G1 die cast cars in the exact same color scheme and insignia as the Transformers toys from the 80's. Its an eye candy for me and it does not even have to be transformable. So long as the details are present and accurate to the anime. Just a thought, so what are your comments on the topic?

Which individual Mini-Cons would you guys say are worthy of being called "tiny gods"? My favorite is probably Makeshift, the Osprey VTOL that turns into a pair of spinning miniguns. Even his robot mode looks pretty dangerous...
