Toys

Nert nert whirr click! What would Transformers be without toys? Share the love of all things plastic and die-cast in here.

  1. Started by sgt__york,

I am just curious... for people that collect the toys for "DISPLAY" more so than PLAY.... do most of you still go for the regular transformable toys... or how many opt for the replicas instead?? As I understand it, the replicas are much more movie accurate.. but do not transform. In this realm, they are actually made for display. I had never really considered them before.... I guess even if they are not 'as' movie accurate.. i've wanted the 'option' to transform them and feel like they are more of the real deal- instead of mini statutes. I was just curious to hear some perspectives from people that might actually buy the replicas and get their take on them.

  2. Started by Taaron,

With Smallblueplanet.com closing, I went to check it out and found this G.I. Joe figure with bubblegum. Seeing this, I was suddenly reminded that there was supposed to also be a Transformers product done in the same manner. Does anyone know what happened to it? Maybe any theories? Anyone remember what it was supposed to be exactly? Aoi

I know it's kinda early to ask this. Does anyone know of any of the other figures beyond Mirage, Jetfire, Cliffjumper, Ramjet and Grimlock that will be in the line. I don't care for any of the smaller figures like minicons or figures like Legends of Cybertron. Just figured it couldn't hurt to ask. I'm really excited about this line :clap

  4. Started by DecepticonusPrime,

Alright, well, I got my little bitty screwdriver set, and have completed the installation, and I must say, my 20th Anniversary Prime looks A LOT better... somehow, he seems more confident, I don't know... ;) Alright, the review... well, these rock. I had started to grow used to the short stacks (the battle damage never bothered me - in fact, I liked it), but now, seeing Prime 'uncut' as he should have been, I'm impressed. The stacks themselves seem to be of good quality. No chips off the chrome or anything like that. I think a TAD more protection in shipping would have been a good idea (a bit of bubble wrap goes a long way), but mine were undamaged, and the ship…

Does anybody know what size class the first and second wave of figures are supposed to be. II can't tell if Starscream is a deluxe, or a mega. Hot Shot, and some of the others are clearly going to be deluxes, just to keep with standard, not to mention, it's the size of the deluxe Armada and Energon Hot Shot figures when posed against them in Remy's pics of GC-02.

Hey guys, new here, but Ive been lurking for a while. I was wondering if anyone knew if they were going to be making a Transformer based on the A-10 Thunderbolt in the ROTF line. I found THIS on tfwiki.net. I havent seen anything else about this Fireflight guy. I mainly collect jet/plane type Transformers, and the A-10 is my favorite, but so far the closest to a true A-10 is the Transformers Crossovers Thor. Any help you guys could offer would be greatly appreciated.

  8. Started by ROSEDOGGYDOG,

I wasn't expecting to find this guy but when I saw him in the box lastnight I really just went "WOW". His color sceme works very very nicely. After reading his bio I was even more pleasently surprised to find out his still Jetfire. Once getting him home I took him from his box and noticed right away that he is more "stiffer" than his orginal counterpart. I will also say to anyone who doesn't like picking up repaints you won't be dissapointed with this one if you do. The next repaint I look forward to is C.Hot Rod (you know what I mean).
