Transformers Bubblegum?

Recommended Posts

With Smallblueplanet.com closing, I went to check it out and found this G.I. Joe figure with bubblegum. Seeing this, I was suddenly reminded that there was supposed to also be a Transformers product done in the same manner.

Does anyone know what happened to it? Maybe any theories? Anyone remember what it was supposed to be exactly?

Aoi

I remember the Joes with gum allright, but don't recall ever hearing about TF's with gum.

I'd guess it was to be a minicon or minicons. ?

I never saw it out there...it was supposed to be for Armada or Energon right? There was supposed to have been candy as well.

It was all over the place like 9 months or more ago. It was called "Bubble Twist" and I still have a load of extra figures. I kept looking for someone to trade with to get the last few colors of certain ones. It was for the Armada line. There were only four different molds, but each came in 5 different colors. I believe they were Optimus, Megatron, Starscream, and Hot Shot and they each came in blue, black, red, grey, and purple.

Botzooka Joe?

Why would you want the gum anyway?

Yeah! that's it! Wow, so it was actually released? I tried tracking it down for a while after it was announced but never saw it any store around here and gave up.

Were they like the classic Decoys or something different?

They were similar to decoys. They weren't poseable and they were of one solid color. Still, they weren't rubbery. They were more like hard plastic.

Yeah, but I need to take new ones. Since I'm at work I'll post these for now.

First one is the figures themselves. If you look at the second shelf from the top, under the Armada super SCF figures, you'll see them.

Next one is the display and containers themselves. They're in the bottom right hand corner. They are the red tube looking containers.
