What is the deal with his insane value compared to the rest of the ALT's?? I realize in the BT line - Nemesis is the most expensive, but that was because he was released as a limited edition (800 i think?). But why is Swerve in the $120-$150 range, given his original $19.99 retail?? Seems insane for the plastic US counterpart. I realize ALL of the TFers are a bit high right now due to the movie - but this one just seems more than DOUBLE the next highest one in value. HAs to be something else at work here that I'm missing. Also, I notice some have a fire-bird flame sticker on the hood - and some do not. What is the deal with that? Is there 2 different r…

What is this? It's called the "Transformers Universe Legends Special Team Leaders 5-pack", but I've never heard of it. And the picture isn't helpful. Anyone know anything? Cheers :thumb

Anyone notice that Swerve's exhaust pipes look much better on Downshift? :tfevil

I'm still in doubt what to buy of the Alternators/Binaltech line. Either it's going to be Optimus Prime and Mirage or Convoy and Rodimus. My main question is: Will Rodimus also be plastic? If yes, I'm seriously considering just buying Optimus and Mirage instead just to pay much less for the same molds.

I'm dusting off my old Beast Wars figs for basement bar display and I came across 2 Optimus's, that are the coolest ever. Well ones cool... I found my 20th Ann. SL GrandConvoy + Kicker set from 2004. I thought I sold Convoy to a friend who luvs Optimus, turns out I didn't. I got all excited + opened him, then... WHA ??? If memory serves I thought the large robots could form together with others so this may explain Convoys body shape, but... What's up with the Santa-Convoy ??? The pics on the box show him w/armor but he looks SO weird the way he was sold. His clear blue gun couldn't make-up for it. Paint him red and he'd be the fattest Transformer ever !!! Whic…

Howdy. Don't know if any of you caught Sunday's paper, but U.S. Toys R Us stores are having a small sale on TransFormers. Energon Mega(?) (Ironhide, JetFire) sized figures and Alternators are all $14.99 ea. ($5 off $19.99) Anyone who's been holding off getting some nice new figures for a while might have more incentive now. :D

My Hasbro giveaway figures showed up today. My haul was: Sideswipe-4 Stalker Scorponok-3 Interrogator Barricade-2 Jolt-1 Dead End-1 Deep Desert Brawl-1 Due to the way they were packaged some were in pretty rough shape but I got at least one good figure of each. Plus I have six figures to be gifted later. What did the rest of you get?

My freind Chuck who works overnight at the Walmart supercenter in Willow Grove right here in good old PA sent me a picture recently of one of the price tags in the toy department. It said leader Ironhide on it and was priced at $42.88. Now I can remember when a leader class figure was $39.99, so was it absolutely necessary to raise the prices on transformer figures? I mean gas, and food I can see, but transformers, WHY??????

I love BBTS.com & i'm their biggest supporter but lately their prices have gone sky high. The reason I created this thread was because for the past few weeks/months. I noticed BBTS.COM/Joel & other USA based import on-line stores are charging extremly high/outrageous prices for Hasbro TF Prime & Takara TF Prime toys. when news that hasbro cancelled the FE line & hasbro wasn't carrying Some FE stuff in america. this is when all the on-line import stores leaped into action & raised their FE Hasbro & FE Takara TF toy prices. literally within hours of hearing the news. Sadly bbts.com & other usa based import on-line sites are almost chargi…
