So I got my BT07 Smokescreen (I've got the Alternator 01 version), and I was sitting in my mother-in-law's car with it as she was shopping. I loaded the missile in for a test fire and fired it off Smokescreen's shoulder... ... onto the dashboard. It quickly rolled up the dashboard into the crack between the windshield and the dashboard and disappeared! I fooled around with the section under the passenger seat and tried to use a hanger to catch it, but no way am I getting this thing back. Now, she's a fanatic about her car, and it's up in Chicago (whereas I'm in Florida), so I can't physically DO anything, but if she ever knew, I'd be screwed, even though …

I have read here that G1 toys like Jetfire will never be reissued due to licensing issues and that Swoops mold was lost/destroyed early in its life. Can anyone confirm any other G1 toys that will have the same issues?

Would you rather have false vehicle parts to maintain robot aesthetics or only have the true vehicle even if it means sacrificing the robot aesthetics? For example masterpiece prime has two grills one in robot mode and one in truck mode Another example is powermaster prime and Rid Scourge have front windows in botmode mimicking G1 Prime's cartoon front aesthetics. Same goes for the recent pics of voyager class michael bay movie prime. Turns out the front of Prime in robot mode is a false front.

Recently there seems to have been some confusion regarding the "WST" KO versions of the G1 Gestalts that have been showing up, speciically in regard to just how small they are. I finally received my micro-size Constructicons today, so I thought I'd try to clear this up. There are three different sized KO's of G1 Gestalts available. On the left you see an original G1 Devastator. In the middle is the mini-sized one, which is about the same height as the Micromaster gestalts (like Sixwing and Sixturbo). I recently got ahold of Universe Smokescreen and after a long week of work I decided to take it easy and watch movies all day Sunday. While doing so, I had the classics car's out and decided to do a little parts swap. I remember during one of the photo shoots for the Unofficial Guide to Japanese Transformers, I was in a debate on what the right missile launchers were for the G1 cars. Funny thing is that the instructions books for Prowl were wrong, so I didn't have much to support my claim that he gets gray, Smoke gets white and bluestreak gets red. I just got soooooo lucky to find Snarl and Reptilian at KB toys the other day. They said though, that they had not seen a silverbolt.....odd. Anyhow...I am so excited about beastformers again and I can not wait to walk into a store and buy up all three universe beast formers all at once! Now I know that the constructicons have been sighted a few times and the Beastformers are suppose to be in the same case..... Has anyone seen any of them?

I was recently thinking about some kind of mail-order exclusive Go-Bot that I vaguely remember seeing advertised in a Sunday newspaper's comics section as a little kid. From what I recall, it was a Renegade, mostly green, and the alt mode looked like some kind of mechanical crab. (And in case anyone is tempted to get all snarky, this is NOT a confused memory of G1 Scorponok. :tfmad ) I also remember the ad copy saying "[character's name] is so evil, he's not available in any store!" So do any of you guys have a clue what I'm talking about? Or is all this just a figment of my overactive imagination? :redface
