So I got my BT07 Smokescreen (I've got the Alternator 01 version), and I was sitting in my mother-in-law's car with it as she was shopping.

 

I loaded the missile in for a test fire and fired it off Smokescreen's shoulder...

... onto the dashboard.

 

It quickly rolled up the dashboard into the crack between the windshield and the dashboard and disappeared!

 

I fooled around with the section under the passenger seat and tried to use a hanger to catch it, but no way am I getting this thing back.

 

Now, she's a fanatic about her car, and it's up in Chicago (whereas I'm in Florida), so I can't physically DO anything, but if she ever knew, I'd be screwed, even though it'll never cause any harm.

 

Other than waiting for Wal-Mart to sell BT-07 Alternators and then picking one up, taking the missile (they're all plastic anyway), and then returning the Alternator sans missile, what other options (other than ordering another BT-07) do I have to replace the missile?

NONE at all unless you have someone "steal "her car, get the piece and then the car would reappear. But im afraid it's too radical

I know It's hard but play with your toys at home. Every time I open something in the car it's like clock work, some thing goes missing. My BW Silverbolt lost his wing missle. My BT Hound's gun wasn't in the spare tire like I put it. I almost had a heart attack over that one though. I was like "God, please no!" I just paid out the ass for this thing. I wipped out the heavy duty flash light for that one. I found it if the crease between the car seat and the door. Lucky.

Just park it in a bad suburb in chicago, they'll dismantle the car down to the frame for you and you can get the missle back with no problems :thumb

 

Otherwise try and take the dash apart yourself with a screwdriver.

I'm not sure how you would be able to get a new missle. I had this happen to me when i got depthcharge i accidently fired it and it got lost somewhere in my dads old car. now cars now long gone so no chance of me getting it back.

Wait a few years, I'm sure you can find it on an ebay auction selling weapon and parts lot. Or someone may be kind enough to mold cast one for you. :thumb I take it the thing only came with one missle? Takara's getting a bit cheap, no?

I think you might be SOL unless you're willing to take the car apart. I don't think there is ever going to be a Alternator version of BT-07 (there are still ten thousand of the original version clogging the shelves).

 

I did the same thing with my grandmother's necklace when I was three. My dad had to take apart the ventilation system to get it back.

 

Might be able to modify a missle like the one that comes with Energon Hot Shot, and I think one of the missiles from those weird Robot Masters missile launchers could also work.
