Hello everyone, Though I am sure you noticed I thought I would bring it up as I found it interesting. I recently purchased the latest 3 PCC 2-packs and the 2 5-packs all of whom are redeco's. As we all know, Hasbro decided to play mix-and match coupling other bots with different Mini-Cons. I however think this was a late change as it is clear that Darkbeam (the new partner for the Searchlight rededo Winburn) matches perfectly with Crankcase (the translucent green plastics are identical). Just as much as Razorbeam (whom is now packaged with Darkstream) fits with Stakeout. And Beacon and both Windburn share red in their color schemes. Hasbro probably wanted t…

Hi, I'm new to collecting the TAKARA versions of figures, and now that I finally have spare money to afford TAV18 Drift, and TAV21 Optimus Prime, I can't find them for anything less than a 15-30 dollar markup. SO, my question is, given that these figures have been out for two months, are those the only prices I'm going to find from here on out? Or if I wait, will some of the shops who have them listed for a more reasonable markup *probably* get more in eventually? Again, I'm new to collecting the Takara version of the toys, and I'm am gravely concerned by how hard it is proving to find these toys suddenly at the shops I actually frequent, and FURTHER co…

I know it was a long time ago, but I was wondering if anyone here happened to snag Unicron.com's first accessory pack? It was released circa 2000, ie Beast Machines era, and was previously available on BBTS. For more info, click here and scroll down: http://www.unicron.us/4sale/ I was thinking of looking for one, but had a couple of questions for those who already have the parts... specifically, does the Key to Vector Sigma fit in a tank drone's cannon, or is it scaled for the larger Tankor figure? Also, I know the stand fits Thrust or Motorcycle Drone figures, but what about Jet Drones? They can't exactly stand correctly, either. Help is greatly appreciated!

Discovering overlooked parts of Generation 1 is a finite experience for me, but one that I treasure and value, because of how quickly it can be over forever. The 1987 Autobot Monsterbots are one of the most bewilderingly pleasurable discoveries I have made in the last year, toys that I had mentally written off as not for me, and mistakenly believed to be 1988. It turns out I had even once owned a complete set of the Monsterbots over a decade ago and had completely forgotten about until I dug up photos last week. The Monsterbots – made up of Doublecross, Repugnus and Grotusque – are gems from 1987, the start of the gimmick era and possibly the best year for vintage Transfo…

2014 has been an incredible year for Transformers collectors, even moreso than 2013 was. This year saw the completion of MMC’s first 3rd party combiner “Feral Rex”, who most people would argue dominated the 3rd Party Predaking wars, as well as the start of the 3rd Party Dinobot Wars where FansProject, FansToys, ToyWorld and others raced to release their interpretations of the beloved robotic dinosaurs. As for official product, we got a new toy line to accompany the 4th live action movie Age of Extinction, more superb Generations figures including Arcee, Jetfire, Rhinox, Brainstorm and Whirl and towards the end of 2014 the Masterpiece line from Takara Tomy really kicked in…

Right. After seeing the Bumblebee repaint(As if there weren't enough Bumblebee's already), in Walmart today, not the Cybertron one which is awesome or the HFTD Bumblebee which is awesome, I meant the next exclusive one for their two packs that comes with a repainted Grindor, I have to wonder.. What the hell is Hasbro doing? I know they said that stores help in the color choices for exclusives, but really.. Look at most of the Target ones(Neon strike Bumblebee anyone?). Sure, some of them are looking awesome(I plan on getting the Thrust and Sideswipe repaints.), but the others... What the hell? I don't know who was on what when these things got presented to whoever de…
