The most "first" thing ever to be first - Transformers Prime First Edition Optimus Prime, the basis of the APC adaptation of this mold. Still, the original was pretty fantastic to begin with!
-
I'm not usually a Bumblebee fan, but I was impressed by Studio Series jeep Bee and now this guy, the Transformers Prime First Edition Bumblebee. An older mold but still one of the absolute best!

Every great franchise and brand has catchphrases, some identify the brand, others eras and some relate to specific characters. Transformers is no different and full of great ones!

Anyone who knows me, knows I am anything but a fan of IDW. That said, I gave the Shattered Glass 5 part series a chance and was disappointed. Was Shattered Glass 2 better? To my surprise, yes, very much! Perfect? No, better? Absolutely. In fact, one issue might be the best thing I have ever read from IDW.

Tonight on GotBot Goes Live we reacted to everything TFCon, Toxitron Collection and Rise of the Beasts. We also vaguely overview (without spoilers) my thoughts about the second half of Earthspark. Finally, we play trivia and quickly look at this week's unboxing.
-
The femme fatale seeker known as Slipstream has a cult following, and it all kinda started off with her TFCC Timelines Prime First Edition version of her!

With the recent release of the APC Toys adaptation of ole Prime Soundwave, it seemed like a good time to look back at the original. I make a few comments regarding the APC one and reference the Beast Hunters version, which I looked at long ago. Odd design, odd figure, but still kinda charming.

Looking back today at the Transformers Prime First Edition Bulkhead. I compare it to the Legacy and comment on the APC Toys adaptation of this mold along the way.
