I had no idea there was a new plastic version!!! The heavy weight and scratch prone die cast was what kept me away from the original MP. *WANT* How much did it set you back? ROFL at "I am King of Awesome." What version is this? It's not the masterpiece edition, is it? Looks hawtsome either way. I wanted the Voltron lions more than transformers when I was a kid. Never got them, though. (I did have a decently posable die cast voltron figure. IT HAD KNEES!) ~Matt Booker

No problem. I think Snarl has the worst instructions + least intuitive transformation on a tf in recent years. If I hadn't figured it out he was headed back to the store. And Sentinel Prime is so far the only Animated Transformer that my fiancee has said was out and out ugly. I dunno, he has a nice heavy feel in hand, an interesting transformation, and a very 'Sentinel Prime' facial expression. And I got him the same time as Swoop, who makes Sentinel Prime look HUGE. His legs should've been about a half inch taller, but he's a decent match for the deluxe Prime figures (I don't like the voyager) so I'm okay with that too. Plus with the lower kibble sharpie'd black, his blue legs stand out more. ~Matt Booker

Cool Bludgeon, Rodimus! :tflaugh That is awesomely kick ass! :D You have Snarl mistransformed, though. His shoulders go down further and his dino-head folds against his chest more. (That's an old pic, though. Mine has a black collar now. I kept the silver spikes instead of using gold, though.) Mistransformed again, but you got the shoulders right. Pretty cool pose, though. :thumb I'm still debating on whether to transform Swoop's legs like you have them. They do bend further back that way... Oh yeah, while I'm on the subject. I got Swoop and Sentinel Prime in the mail from HTS the other day. I had to take a couple of shots of them! In case anyone is wondering, Swoop's weapon has working pop out flames after I modded it. It is NOT the same way that Peaugh from youtube did his. My version's flames pop out much further, and there will be a guide in the next week or so. As for Sentinel Prime... I've since painted some parts of his lower legs black. Looks even better, but I'll have more pics of that later. :) ~Matt Booker

I have a few marvel minimates. Not a real collection or anything, but they're pretty cool. I think they're MUCH better for tfs than the Superhero Squad figures that I've seen some people use. (That Jean figure is ugly as hell, though.) Oh, and the second best reason for owning some minimates? Lockdown! ~Matt Booker

This was the best I came up with as far as Grimmy is concerned.......so far. He's a little too G1 Tigga please Pretty sweet, guys. As long as we're on the subject of Grimlock ACTION poses... "YEHAW!" Grimlock vs. Lockdown An Epic Struggle - Who has who? And for my personal favorite (and the best reason I'm glad I own some minimates)... "Me Grimlock, BADASS!" And from another angle... You have him mistransformed... The black part of his arm slides up inside the gray shoulder part. :) That being said, that particular phrase plus a furious raised fist ARE a great action pose for Grimlock. ~Matt Booker

I've already posted this picture, but I thought of a better caption for it. :) I think my activators Bee overheard me talking about how the Cliffjumper repaint might replace him on display, as a crazy tough guy bot is better than a kid friendly character. He is flawed, but I like him despite them. I even like him better than most of the first Classics series. Much better in person than most pictures would lead you to believe. The two pictures I posted accurately reflect his coolness, though. ;) ~Matt Booker
