  1. "> My updated TFTM `bots Prime's trailer repairs Bumblebee, guarded by the Energon Saber team. Soundwave & Ravage doing a little espionage.
  2. You know, every time I see a reference to RTS Scourge, I immediately think of a repaint of RTS Prime.
  3. My latest: Highbrow. Yeah, I know he's been out for a while, but this is the first one I've seen. Awesome figure. I love the WWII aviator hat/helmet he's got, anfd that you can have him "wear" the goggles. The character of the robot mode plus the novel-looking plane mode make this pure win. I know he's supposed to be old, but for some reason I keep imagining him with John Barrowman/Capt. Jack Harkness' voice. And I haven't even watched any Torchwood lately. Found the Preview Prime yesterday, and I'm amazed at the detail in this little guy. Took a couple attempts to get truck mode right (didn't realize the lower legs snap in place in both extended & compressed modes) but it's very effective. Certainly a dramatic improvement over the previous Legends class one, even though it's superficially similar. I'm tempted to pick up a second one to make into movie Ginrai - the flight pack reminds me a bit of God Ginrai's wing attachments. But how to make the robots look different?
  4. Terradive thinks he's won . . . . . . but nobody messes with Hubcap!
  5. I got Protector last week, and it's great to have an excellent Classics Rodimus Prime! Now the Titanium version can go into storage. The only downside is that the spoiler extensions are obviously that in robot mode - I might decide to leave them off. Overall, a bit of a splurge, but worth every penny!
  6. Let's see if I can get this link right . . . "> WFC Soundwave triumphant! "> Classic Cliffjumper models his new noggin, courtesy of his WFC counterpart. "> "We are . . . Thunderwing!"
  7. [url="<a href=" [/url] Got WFC Cliffjumper. Now I need a second one . . .
  8. "Work, slave!" Shouldn't it be Mikaela working on Jazz? She's the mechanic . . .
  9. Moderately on-topic since these are Microman figures.
  10. With Independence Day right around the corner, this seemed appropriate. Gives me a chance to show off my latest Prime, too. :tfgrin
  11. With VW's current marketing campaign, I'm surprised this hasn't been done already . . .
  12. It looks like Megs just read the TF3 script, and isn't happy . . .
  13. funny that you posted this, because I just got a deluxe bumblebee and have the same basic thing going on my desk right now There's a unique joy in having the same toy in multiple size classes I just dug DLX Barricade out of the shed, and noticed my HA one on the shelf. I could do it really well with Optimus . . . I love having different sizes for different purposes - the Legends guys work perfectly with Metroplex, while the larger ones give you more posing options and features.
  14. INIKCHUK! (Man, do I need a new camera . . .)
  15. The Decepticon attack on Metro City encounters some opposition . . . Considering how wimpy the movie `Cons are, I figure it'll take at least this many to present any challenge at all for Astro. :tflaugh
  16. I STILL say Powerglide is one of the coolest molds we've had in a long time. I picked him up as well but he's still in package although the bok is pretty craptacular. I have the origional U-PG in my collection and still love the colors. He kinda looks more dynamic that way to me and am only thinking about opening the red PG just because I want to see what he's like in red. I just picked up Ultra Silverbolt an hour ago from ToysRUs for $15 and I'm soo two ways about him. The mold is cool. Love the jet mode, Love the Robot mode and his well ratcheted parts and have no real problems with him except that the robot's torso is just blaring out from the bottom like ..."Look at me! Look at me!! I just wish that the chest and mid section had at least transformable panels at least to make him seem more like a Transformer. Although, I do feel the nostalgia just pour from this guy. Which makes him ...awesome?...!...?...! I donno. ^_~ Silverbolt is completely awesome - the only Universe Ultra that warrants the word IMO. He's far more evocative of the original figure than PG or Onslaught, has a simple yet satisfying transformation, is impressively large, is stable in both modes. He's the best of the Universe Ultra molds, hands down. The repaints less awesome, because the mold is so obviously Silverbolt that repainting just looks like Silverbolt in other colors, not another character. Powerglide & Onslaught just didn't evoke the originals enough - Powerglide looked somewhat like the original, but the colors were wrong. All Onslaught had going for him was the head, which was why he didn't get bought `til I saw him for $12 at KMart. Powerglide is a decent figure, apart from the shoulder flaw. I'm just not sure he was worth the original $30 pricetag.
  17. I picked up Walmart Universe Red Powerglide a couple days ago for $15. It looks better out of the package than the box photos suggest. The colors do make the mold actually look like Powerglide, unlike the general release. I think the shoulders might peg together a little better too. His shoulders are more stable than the first one, but still not quite enough improvement in my book. If anyone has a suggestion for this, I'm all ears. I still find the mold rather lacking, mostly because of the shoulders, but giving PG his proper colors and the price I paid make this version much more palatable than the original release.
  18. :wat Are the Ravages relieving themselves on Soundwave?!? Did he forget to empty the litter box again? :lol
  19. Finally picked up Deep Desert Devestator (Brawl), and for $10 he ain't bad. Now I just need to have Legends Jazz hanging off him to recreate that scene from TF 1
  20. I ordered white Leo Prime off the Target website. I loved the first Leo Prime, so a rerelease of the figure in Lioconvoyish colors was a must-buy. It's not perfect, the flaws inherent to the Leobreaker mold remain. He does have funky arms, but they manage to look powerful. To me it's cool because it's a more stable, and therefore play-friendly version of Lioconvoy. Adding back the electronics would have been nice, but I can live without him being able to roar. A lot of people were thrilled at Walmart red Powerglide - I'm thrilled with this guy. 7/10
  21. "I used to be a 98-ton weakling. Then I discovered the Voltron fitness plan!"
