So far we are all looking for new cars, no matter in brand name and model, but even jets, machines in the line. Also, some people did complaint about Mesiter's transformation scheme is so similiar to smokescreen/silversteak (although it turn out that Mesiter does have some imporvement).

I just wonder WHAT IF hasbro and takara can only do us a favourite in one of the above .... what will you tell them to manufacture ?

I personally love the alt/binaltech line, and dont mine similar transformation schemes, well as long as they stay away from Sideswipe. That one just isnt that great. But they could reuse tracks, hound and smokescreens transformations all they want.

In the G1 cartoon the characters for the most part had similarities between transformation. Jazz was similar to prowl, smokescreen, silverstreak, except his legs didnt turn around, everything else was pretty similar. So why should the transformation for the alt/binaltech jazz be that much different from the Smokescreens and silverstreaks?

Alt/Binaltech is bringing us classic transformer characters with transformation schemes that harken back to their namesake, and so far they have outdone themselves.

Cept for the Sideswipe part, I don't mind Sideswipe at all.

BTW Just got my Alternator Hound and Silverstreak in, man I LOVE Hound. He is easily my favorite.

Different car types, but similar transformation. I don't mind the same transformation as long as the cars are totally different. :thumb

My only problem with sideswipe and deadend is that their transformations dont lend alot to poseability. I have both and wouldnt trade them for the world, but of the binaltech/alts out there I think, and this is just opinion, that of the transformations we have seen so far that sideswipes is the weakest of the bunch.

heres the world.. now GIVE ME... Sideswipe and deadend!

yah it would be nice if they were different but the fact that they are retooling the cars for repaints and the level of detail more than makes up for it...

How quickly we learn to take things for granted.... Three years ago, we would have been crapping in our pants over a figure like Alternators Sideswipe. But now we're all like, "oh he's lame". Am I the only one who thinks it's a major achievement to make a Transformer out of a convertible (with an actual engine and working doors, hood and steering as well)? Geez.

I'd prefer multiple transformations. I think they could be more creative with that than they are. But you don't necessarily mean 4-door cars, just similar ones, right?

Umm... to me ... I think 4-door-car is the majority only.

You ar right, but is it asking to much to give deadend a black gun???
