naw there will always be infantry warfare, it's just not the primary means of attack anymore. and *of course* i know that mechas in warefare would not work that's where the funny comes from! ;P

Robot Jox... that's all i'm saying

that movie rocks. i have yet to find a copy of it though... that flick needs to come out on DVD.

if i was president i'd dump billions into producing military mechs that could disguise themselves as normal vehicles then suddenly (well it would probally take like 5 min) a tank becomes a 30 foot tall robot. now that would scare the enemy!

I think maybe teh japs would see this comming

Yep, now we just sit back and push buttons. And then, when a missle lands on our country, we say"OH YEAH! Well, watch this!" And then we launch an even bigger weapon. And so on and so forth.

That has never happened in any war.

Infantry is still the primary means of fighting a war. Always will be.

I think some sort of mech would actually be a great infantry support weapon... I just don't think anyone's been able to engineer "legs" that would make it quick or mobile enough. How sick would it be to see Imperial walkers coming your way when you're in the trenches, though? Yikes!

I don't know if being able to transform would be of any military value, but it would be damn cool nonetheless. On a somewhat related note, I'd also like to have my own working R2 droid.

YESSS!!!!!! :clap I remember just about busting a nut when I saw the video trailer for that flick back in the day. Wasn't there a sequel to that flick...?

If I were President, I'm sure I'd have more things to do besides collecting, so I'd hire the finest scalpers to get my toys for me. :P

Place: Pearl harbor

People: Japanese

Japanese Flyer: KAMAKAZI!*ships blow up, practically whol harbor blown up.*

Place: Hiroshima

People: Americans

American Flyer: Mr. President, do you want me to drop the bomb?

President: Do it.*nuclear bomb drops, prcactically whole city is destroyed*

They dropped one more bomb, and the war was over. I rest my case. :tflaugh

Not to mention the Cold War, where no missles were fired, but US Cuba and Russia just pointed our nukes at each other.
