NOOOOOOOOOOO! UNICRON IS REAL, I JUST KNOW IT! :tflaugh Seriously, nice idea, but hasbro probably won't put that much depth into it.

Wait a sec...You want a planet that eats and kills everything in it's path to be real? I think you need to see Dr. Phil, my friend. :tftongue

Well, Takara's working on the cartoon, and since they already made OS a sage (something Hasbro probably wouldn't have thought off)...You never know.

Good points, though it's entirely different in the comics (which make more sense) DW explained that Armada/Energon Cybertron was a totaly different realality to G1/BW/BM (& R.I.D & MW & BWN) and proved there is only one chaos bringer, so G1 Unicron is Armada Unicron. Thats MY 2 cents. :thumb

The comic's storyline is watery and Furmanesque...its not worth reading, for me...

And in the show, the dub did mention them as "Spies" or something similar, but it was still a mistake...what the Minicons did, in the original timeline, was trick the bots into Powerlinking with them...but the mindless minicons enslaved the autobots through Powerlinking. This is why Minicons have the ability to format a Transformer to have the ports..Unicron was thinking long-term and was trying to make sure it would all work out. They allied with the bots, then powerlinked and destroyed them within Unicron's body....It was a pretty disturbing scene, and it's interesting to see how time was altered, and the timeline we're enjoying with Superlink and Micron Legend wasn't even supposed to happen...

you do realize that the comic was created before the cartoon, right?

I see...Thanks for explaining that for me, Bodycount. Always was rather confused by that whole temparol paradox thing. :redface

And about the cartoons and comics...The comics were in the beginning way better then the cartoon (not exactly hard to do), but the cartoon's end (Unicron Battles) and Energon/Super Link are supreme when compared to the comics. They've become way to slowpaced and G1-esque now. :tdown

I also wanna add that Minicons aren't spies..where are you getting that nonsense?

Mini-cons were tiny cyber-organic lifeforms that Unicron created from his own cells, who were sent to harvest Energy for him...they're almost like his personal Omnicons. The problem being that Rad, in the paradox, liberated them and gave them a mind.

Unicron feeds off negative energy...therefore the mini-cons share that trait, but they fed off Rad's "compassion" as it was stated in thet dub, and it filled them with "positive" energy..and Unicron was thusly thwarted in the past events....

thx for the info BC! :thumb

In the Linkage Manga it is mentioned that Minicon sparks are derived from Human souls how did Unicron do that?

P.S.What is the deal with Shining Unicron(green glowy Unicron made of minicons)?

I like the Armada/Energon comics better. Unicron Battles was nothing special, and Energon is full of poor dubbing that makes the story hard to follow. But I'm sure Superlink is good, and I'd rather see some of their eps. But as far as the Armada/Energon cartoons go, I prefer the comics. The stories are much more interest, at least to me anyway.

It's gobbledy-gook like this that makes anime (or anime-inspired series) near impossible to watch.
