Alternity Convoy Set for January 2009 Release

According to product listing on Rakuten, it's revealed that the initial release date of Nov 20th for both Alternity Convoy & Henkei Ratchet postponed until Jan 22nd of 2009.

I changed the title to better reflect that Henkei Ratchet was delayed from the previous release month of November.

 

However, Hobby Japan noted that Alternity Convoy was delayed until January, but this definitely firms up the date for the release. :thumb

yeah i was gonna just say that. That they announced the delay till January while ago. However, they didnt give a street date so this is still news. :) I patiently await the release of ol red & blue.

Works for me, I'm holding out for a the Hasbro release on Ratchet anyway.

Interesting tho, the Alternity Convoy seems to be priced ~500yen lower than initial posters/pics showed. Which makes it even awesomer, as it now is price low enough to import without paying extra customs and taxes ^^

How many America-bucks is it going to be?

Its supposed to be around the $50 to $55 dollar range. Im hoping for Hasbro to bring in them for the $20 - $25 dollar range and maybe i can just get the Leaders as die cast (since we all know Hasbro wont give us die cast most likely). The way they said their answer about any upcoming Alternators, made me think they have something in mind for some time in the future. I believe we are getting these too from all the fans wanting them. You REALLY think Hasbro is gonna skip out on this money? Thats probably what the delay is about, US. Well Americans. Maybe not but its a possibility highly imo.
