In a recent "Best of Sci-Fi" poll on Yahoo, Transformers came in third place on a list of 30 sci-fi greats. We beat all but one Star Wars movie which itself was trumped by IronMan

These polls normaly do, Ever see the ones for Metal Music!?! Horrible!!!

I was just happy to see all the high ranking movies that we beat out. To be honest after I got past the 15, I didn't expect to see Transformers make it at all.

Well, not to knock us, but from the looks of this poll, we seemed to be helped by being recent and fresh in people's minds. Because no way is Iron Man the best sci-fi flick ever made.

wow i would not even put a few of those films in the sci-fi category also out of all the scifi films ever how something like x-men 3 got in their i dont know

Okay, I love Transformers and Iron Man and all... But what the hell idiots made this list? :wtf

Whom, it would seem, have no conception of what "sci-fi" even is.

And whom, it would seem, are all under the age of sixteen.

This list needs more Fritz Lang's Metropolis!

I found Ironman to be one of the best films I have seen this year alongside The Dark Knight and Wall-e.
