has anyone noticed a pattern on a lot of the bio's. they start off by giving a motto which is fine, but later on at some point

...blah blah its not that he's blah, its just that he blah...

anyone else notice this? how many do we have like that? I know Titanium skywarp and tf:a snarl off the top of my head. which others?

For a long while now yeah. The figure is always either stern or jovial, but loves to just get in a fight and won't back away from one unless they're throwing a cheap shot.

I still read them, but I have to agree, were the end of the bio was maybe a sentence about thier weapon or range, with the rest being about the personality. Now it's the other way around.

Anotherthing I kinda raise an eyebrow to is the "Skill Level" on the packaging that tells you how hard the transformation should be, those are never acurate and are based on the pricepoint, not complexity.

In the end though, none of these things realy matter as I'm more intrested in the figure than the back story, as I just make up my own anyway. I do like to read though, and think it would be awesome if they went back to giving us minicomics like they use to, just instead of making a new one quarterly, make them character specific. Older toys use to do that(Wheeled Warriors for example).

Instead of a 4 sentence bio, a 5 or 6 page story about the figure would just help develope the personalities even more. Even if they did it as a strip on the back of the instructions, it would be pretty cool.

yeah I agree they do all seem a bit the same but when I read a bio for say a classics toy I always think about the G1 bio never the new one

They need to re-hire Bob Budiansky.

I read Silverbolt's bio when I saw him at Target last night and I was like "hey, somebody watched 'The Key to Vector Sigma'."

Classics Blades is the same way. do they not realize this?

I'm a little bugged at the number of Autobots that are more worried about keeping their paintjobs safe than fighting Decepticons. I seem to recall 3 off the top of my head, tho I can't rememebr their names; I think Universe Sunstreaker had that in his bio.

I believe Tracks was another of those who cared more about his paint job than fighting the Decepticons.

They really all do sound the same. Except for Movie Elita-1 :tflaugh

I read them now more out of habit then anything else. I generally make my own backgrounds though.
