Well SDCC 08 came and go, and the great news were revealed new TFU action figures, but after some thinking I knew there was something wrong.

INFERNO - in VOYAGER size (in scale to PRIME) and his new likeness rocked,......

And that's when all things were to blame HASBRO, (once again).

 

we had already all the DECEPTICONS (with the exception of MEGATRON and ONSLAUGHT) in deluxe sizes.

WHEN are we going to have some decently rendered TFU figures.

 

that's why i started to think that their error of misconception came from the beginning of the line, with STARSCREAM and mainly with ASTROTRAIN, an ERROR they didn't commit with the ANIMATED line??????

my proposal is that as TFU Collectors we make claer to Hasbro/Takara Tomy that if they are doing this line mainly for old school and new collectors alike ( and we're indeed much more than meets their eyes), they should start doing things right!

 

as a not too long re-thinking of the line, they should consider (really hope so) that a JET FIGHTER is bigger than a FIRE ENGINE truck. :tfpwn

Um, you have seen other Transformers, right? A completely in-scale line would be great, but it's never gonna happen.

 

Besides, they attempted to put Powerglide in scale and there's just as much complaint that now he's too big. You can't please this fandom with any single approach, and you certainly can't rally them all around the same idea to send a message to Has-Tak/Tom.

 

Accept that just because something is not to your liking, that doesn't make it wrong - whether it's scale issues, the depiction of certain characters in the movie, or the canon origins of the Transformers.

 

It's the only way to survive in this fandom.

Um, I thought Cyclonus was a Deluxe? If not, oh well. No biggie. This is Transformers we're talking about, scale's NEVER been right. Complaining about it is kind of pointless.

1) Like everything else they do when it comes to TFer, Hasbro is doing this line for the kiddies. We're just along for the ride.

Because for every fan who wants them to be in scale in VEHICLE mode, there's another fan who wants them to be in scale in ROBOT mode. And of course "robot mode scale" was determined by the original relative sizes of the toys.

Awesome. Then what's the problem? Being a Deluxe means that Cyclonus will fit right in with the Universe/Classics Seekers, Astrotrain, Tankor/Octane, and the 6" Ti Scourge.

For Scourge, see if you can find the 6" Ti. It really fits in with the Classics/Universe look.

true but I'd like to see a universe plastic toy with say a targit master just to have an offical toy and the 6" toy I've never seen and I really dont want to go out of my way for a Ti even if it is one of the good ones
