Do I care?

This one was bad, but I've seen worse. At least I can buy the idea of a society based on harmonies, even used as a weapon. Now, sound travelling in space is another matter. But here are some that I thought were just as bad if not worse:

 

Surprise Party--Ugh! That's more of Daniel and Wheelie than is humanly tolerable!

 

The Girl Who Loved Powerglide--I hated Powerglide. Almost as much as I hate sheltered, bratty little rich girls. And the idea of the coneheads being thwarted by such an all-talk, pipsqueak douche bag like Powerglide is just preposterous.

 

Sea Change--Yeah right. There's a tide pool with magical powers that allows you to choose whatever form you want. Ok, Ill buy that. But what I dont buy is that Seaspray and Rumble two of the smaller, weaker characters go in and choose to pick their old bodies. Bumblebee and Cosmos (I think) were in that one too, theyre in the same boat as those two, they didnt think to jump in and get some new duds? Offhand I have no idea what Rumble might have picked, but shouldn't Seaspray have picked something like E-Mirage? Cosmos a big space cruiser, and Bumblebee a rough and tumble Baja Bug?

But you know what? I still watch it anyway. Everytime I put in Season 3 part 1 I watch that one. I shouldn't have said it sucks though. I just get mad because every time the Constructicons try to form Devastator something happens. And they make Devastator really small. Kind of like the toy.

I never even got to see most of season 3 when I was young. We had three channels and less than half way into the series it got canned. Watching episodes for the first time was cool but Carnage will always be the worst ep ever produced. It made me physically ill to witness such crap and then call it TF's. And I also agree with Outrider on those other eps, they were awful too.

And they make Devastator really small.  Kind of like the toy.

Yet in other episodes Devastator is bigger than Unicron! (The Master Builders)

Yeah! Now that you mention it, in that episode I saw Ultra Magnus palm a constructicon in each hand and wack them together. And yet Broadside is about the size of a gestalt.

 

But I do watch Sea Change, corny as it may seem, I like seeing that chick-bot who digs seapsray.

Let's not forget that in "Carnage" we discover Galvatron and Soundwaves "special" relationship. :tflaugh1

Again, it's not the story that makes "Carnage" so bad, it's the animation errors...

 

- Devastator being the same size as Soundwave.

 

- Devastator's pose being directly copied from his TFU profile.

 

- Broadside being larger than Devastator.

 

- Broadside's pose being directly copied from his TFU profile.

 

- Brawn and Huffer being alive (!) and fighting alongside the Decepticons (!!).

 

- Superion being the same size as Perceptor, Ultra Magnus and Broadside.

 

- Ugly munchkin Galvatron.

 

- Ultra Magnus playing with tiny toy Constructicons.

 

- Soundwave as a giant tape deck.

 

- Guess which one of Broadside's arms is a cheap knock-off replacement?

 

- Autobot Soundwave.

 

- Galvatron completely towering Soundwave.

 

- The world's largest tape deck (that's Allegra to the left!).

 

- Flat Magnus.

 

- Galvatron's pose being directly copied from his TFU profile.

 

- My personal favorite: Hot Spot fighting alongside Defensor (!).

 

- Tiny Superion taking on Galvatron.

 

- Incredibly tiny Blaster flying in front of extremely giant Soundwave.
