And then they can repaint Towline into both of them. I'll buy those as well, because I adore both characters.

Then it wouldn't be a reissue, since it's a whole new toy. Don't bet on HasTak to release new G1 molds in the TF collection, because if they do that for some, than the fans would complain that they should do the same thing with the others. The closest thing you can look for new G1 molds is Robotmasters, and for Ironhide/Ratchet, look for Energon Towline.

I definitely see a repaint of towline into G1 ironhide & ratchet coming.

in that case, if you guys insist on bringing back the original Ironhide and Ratchet, i don't think they'll change the mold, since it wouldn't be a reissue then, but they should remould just part of it so that we can at least have their robot faces behind their windscreens, instead of some ugly box-like thing.

Even if they have to make new molds for G1 characters, it wouldn't hurt. I mean look at how many different Transformer lines are out now (Energon, Alternators, Universe, Re-Issues, and some stores are still selling Armada) I don't think it would hurt to start another series consisting of the original characters with molds as close as they can get to the original. I know it can't be to hard.

 

They should make new molds of Ratchet and Ironhide with a back and head and make their vehicle forms exactly like the G1 versions.

 

I would rather have new molds made with the same vehicle form but new robot forms than not have them at all. That goes for ALL G1 Transformers.

 

Re-Issues of the Dinobots would be completely awesome cuz I'm sick of paying a fortune for used and damaged ones on E-Bay
