Wow you even posted pictures on your wedding day. How did it go? Congrats man.

That a serious load of toys... Interesting choice to have them all in vehicle/animal/alt modes rather than robot. I actually like that, but it would take me too much time to go through my room. Do one, I'd have to do them all!

That a serious load of toys... Interesting choice to have them all in vehicle/animal/alt modes rather than robot. I actually like that, but it would take me too much time to go through my room. Do one, I'd have to do them all!

three reasons:

1) most toys (like g1/g2/ beast wars) were designed sothat their vehicle mode/beast mode looked like the show. The robot mode, however did not resemble the show as much. Plus,the lack or articulation and "coolness factor" in these modes were not appealing to show off in a showcase.

2) If they are all standing, packed tightly, you wouldnt be able to see any figures behind the front row. However, in vehicle mode, there is enough space between shelves to peak between themand look at them all (notice picks). In robot mode, however the distant between the heads and the shelves are minimal.

3) I found this with the TMNT figures. If one falls down, it causes a very messy domino effect with its neighbors and knocks them down too.. this is much less of a hastle.
