I checked out the first couple of ep summarizations on youtube, and it got me thinking...

Methusem makes the distinction that Goldar is "not a robot but a rocket that is alive." so it makes me wonder if the implied definition there of robot is machine that is not alive.

being that we now in fiction accept that robot can be alive, would he not fit into that? thus rendering him one of the first transformers?
