ah so that's what it was in the test shots that show the backwards feet, completely backwards legs, that sucks b-cuz i wanted him to stand out a little bit more different in bot mode than Smokey.

Thanks for posting all the different feet combinations, Jaguaratron.

Maybe I'll kitbash a Meister by swapping the feet, that way both his rear doors and knee joints will face the same direction. I'm sure that would screw up his transformation, though.

Yep as the rear seats lock the legs into place in both robot and car mode. you may be able to follow your plan if you remove the seats (but the legs and rear seats are a thing of beauty on this one)

and the best shot I can get to show the seats in car mode (the legs are tucked up behind them)

So the backs of his thighs are the tops of the rear seats?

back of the thighs are the bottom of the rear seats (notice the screwholes in the bottom of the seats) The top of the rear seats are fixed to the back of the feet.

to get the legs from robot to car you twist the feet 180 degrees, then make him do the splits, rotate the individual legs 180 degrees, then rotate the waist 180 degrees, open the back/top of rear seats and fold the legs up and underneith them with the back of the thigh forming the bottom of the seat then close the back/top of the seats, push the two parts together to form the back end of the car and rear part of the interior . That may sound v complex and make no sense now but is quite easy in reality lol.

Sorry, that's what I meant. That the backs of his thighs were the tops of the rear seat cushions/bottoms.

Cool, thanks for all the detailed information. I'm looking forward to getting a Meister in about six years when he evenutally makes it into the stores. Sigh...

Humble pie......

Well despite my earlier protestations that you couldnt get the dorrs and knees in that particular combination, I was kind enough to get a pic sent to me showing a proto with knees and doors in the required way. I then messed around untill I was able to get it to click, its actually simpler to do it than to transform him correctly (obviously my skills overide my ability to transform things incorrectly lol)

Pics below and embarrassment for me.
