It's live action (well, live action with CGI, obviously).

Surely Zemeckis can't be that busy--he doesn't seem to have anything on his directorial plate after "Polar Express."

Anyway, since the principals in this movie are going to be CGI-animated, perhaps they should look at the renowned directors in that field.  Brad Bird ("The Incredibles," "The Iron Giant") would be someone I'd nominate, if he can escape the clutches of the Big Evil Mouse.

I beleive Mr Murphy said Zemeckis would not do it. He had said that a while back. I think Quintan Tarrentino is not the right guy. I beleive OPP said Sam Raimi. He would be good as well. I still think James Cameron would be a great choice, if they could afford him.

I think sam rami is the spiderman guy right.

That guy is bound to the franchise and cant do anything else till the 3rd one is done I heard

James Cameron is a bad choice.

He's too big of a name and will no doubt put a spin on the movie or make a TF film 'in his vision', which is a bad thing.

My 2 Cents.

Alien vs. Predator vs. Ravage?

Actually, why not Tim Burton? He's good, he's done animated, he did the only good batman films to date...

i agree with this totally, tim managed to catch the darkness and peril that really happened in the batman,

i think that a darker cybertron would be the way to go and the destructive forces of the decepticons should be shown in it's full evil potential (maybe killing off recogniseable characters who did not feature in the cartoon too much to give these scenes some deph,)

also important, give us spike and sparkplug, an older teen aproach would be a better all round than armada had with sissy kids who got in the way of action.

hhhhmmm Tim Burtan was good at showing that batman's villens weren't all evil. Mabie he will do that to the cons!!!!
