Its a pity, Arcee never made it to the movie, but nonetheless they came out with a beautiful toy.

The best Arcee they ever produced. But I can't say the same about her face.

Its a tad too ugly to me.

 

So I decided to give her a face lift.

 

Work is still in progress and I hope to make more progress in the next week to come.

looks a helluva lot better than the stock head. i'm sure youre gonna paint it. i always wanted to do a mod on her. i want to take the half wheels and detach them and be able to put them on her arms or back. they look stupid on her shoulders. all in half. maybe i can put some clear nail polish on the pin and be able to put the halves in angle or somethin. just swiveling around and all floppy just doesnt cut it for me. i cant wait to see the head all pianted up tho, very nice job. zedz

what kind of paint did you use? mine scrapes off if I thin it. and is too thock if i don't

I am using Tamiya spray paint. Yes my coat of paint doesnt stick quite well too..

Its due to the coat of oil on the toy. It will help if you wash the parts before painting on it.

Washing is the secret, then. Good job, anything is better than the original head.

I sculpt the head myself from the original Acree head.

It gives me a good guage on the size of it.

Brushing actually leaves a thick coat of toy. Which will inevitably increase the chance of paint chip
