Hey All, wasnt sure which forum to post in so I picked this one. I need some info on bbts.com. Mainly how long does it take to ship an order out after placing and paying for it? Also do they send an email letting you knw its been shipped or will it just arrive on my doorstep?

Anyone who has dealt with them before infoo would be much appreciated. Thanks

I just had a "Pile of Loot" shipped on Tuesday 2/26 and it arrived today around noon (UPS Ground).

 

My other orders have shipped and arrived around the same time frame.

 

*edit* and yes they are very good with contact (when ordered, when shipped...) and have a quick link to UPS tracking from the order page.

BBTS is pretty good. I placed an order 2/14, shipped out 2/18, and arrived 2/22.

It generally takes a few days between the order and actual shipment, especially with large amounts. Inside the US this has the awkward side effect that it sometimes taking less time to be en-route than that it takes them to put it together.

 

Inside the US take in account about a week or so all together from the order to it arriving at your doorstep.

Yeah, I've had nothing but good experiences from bbts. Some stuff is more expensive there, but for some reason I just like dealing with them. Most of the stuff I get there isn't marked up much more than any where else ($1-5ish depending on the item) so I don't really mind because I know I'll get it on time and that it will be packaged with care.

On most small orders I've placed, it's usually 1-2 days after the order is placed that they will ship it. Larger orders will take longer, but that's understandable.

Hmm I was thinking of doing that but I never got around to it...

 

Its been years since I've ordered from them... I think uh... in 2001 was the last time maybe. Who knows how it works now!

 

But also, no problems with them! I've also had NO problems with Wheeljack's Lab either even though everyone else has... o_O

I've only ordered from them once or twice, but never had any problems. I think their prices are a bit high, but they ship pretty quickly, and whatnot.

BBTS is based in the State of Wisconsin, USA. Close to a central position in the US so they have a good shipping time around the US and Canada. I've always received my order within 1-2 days of them shipping it because I'm only a few hours from their location.

 

I've never had a problem with BBTS and I've ordered from them on several occasions. Typically it takes 1-2 days for them to ship your order.

 

The shipping fees are based on weight because of the new standards from the US Postal Service shifting to emphasize weight for postage. I believe many carriers are starting to do the same thing.
