So I decided to buy both of them and then decide in person (about $30 for both). Also it gets me an extra TF!!!

 

any more suggestions on the other four?

That was my first thought was to use Brakedown. But I like Lightspeeds cycle mold better. Also I decided to use Brakedown for my Classics Wheelie (new head mold and paint job)

 

I guess great minds think a like.

Imo,brakedown isn't really qualified for wheelie,Clocker with an energon strongarm head is one of my current projects though.

I am working on a Technobot/Computron update for my classics collection. I have decided on the following:

 

Scout Clocker = Lightspeed (paint)

Scout Ransack = Afterburner (remold and paint)

Scout Signal Flare = Nosecone (added drill and paint)

Scout Air Raid = Strafe (added front guns and paint)

 

My question is with Scattershot. I was thinking the Cybertron/Galaxy Force Voyager Starscream, but it is WAY hard to find for a good price.

 

My second thought is Armada Starscream, but I do not know its size. Is it larger than a Voyager class or smaller?

 

Any help or suggestions would be welcome.

 

I'd change base bots for Strafe, Lightspeed, and Nosecone with Energon Skyblast, Cybertron Brakedown, and Energon Kickback respectively.

 

Skyblast would look awesome as Strafe if you remove its claw gimmick and add two missiles/guns on the front, with Energon Kickback you can remove the turrets and add a big drill in its place (plus this is a bonus if you are planning to use Storm Jet as Scattershot because the gestalt linkages are already there), and I added Brakedown because it looks much more like a futuristic car than Clocker, especially if it's for Lightspeed (who always wanted to be refitted into a starcraft.)

SKYBLAST, that is what I ment SKYBLAST (air raid is the Target Movie release), I already picked that one up, love the mold.

 

I do like Brakedown, but I, for some reason, want to use Ransack...I got both anyway.

 

Energon Kickback is a GOOD idea, if I can find one. There are a few on ebay, no too expensive. A Drill will fit right on the the "energon" hole there on the front.

Ok, so I just recieved my Pile of Loot which included both Brakedown and Ransack...

...I like them both and I am having trouble deciding which would make the better Afterburner...

 

Maybe its time for a vote? any suggestions.

 

Also, I also got a Signal Flare to custom into Nosecone, but I just found Cybertron Scattorshot (IE Galaxy Force Backpack,NOT SCATTERSHOT) and I think he may make a better choice...

Does anyone agree, as he is slightly expensive for a Scout class I don't want to waste my money ($25+ depending...)
