Classics Strafe Complete!!!

Recommended Posts

I am working on a Technobot/Computron update for my classics collection. I have decided on the following:

Scout Clocker = Lightspeed (paint)

Scout Ransack = Afterburner (remold and paint)

Scout Signal Flare = Nosecone (added drill and paint)

Scout Skyblast = Strafe (added front guns and paint)

My question is with Scattershot. I was thinking the Cybertron/Galaxy Force Voyager Starscream, but it is WAY hard to find for a good price.

My second thought is Armada Starscream, but I do not know its size. Is it larger than a Voyager class or smaller?

Any help or suggestions would be welcome.

its a voyager but the toy stands a little taller

Are titanium starscream/thundercracker based on the same mold as cyb starscream? They'd be a bit smaller than a voyager tho, but that might work better with scouts? Other suggestion would be energon Stormjet (or a repaint). He'd give you combiner ports to work with as well.

That's what I was gonna say.

Thanks for the info. Yes Stormjet is a nice idea. I have been using Classics Jetfire as a stand-in and the Scout fit nicely with his height. I found these compare shots and I think (by comparing Jetfire and GF Starscream vs GF Starscream and Armada SS) I may go with the Armada Starscream, as I found one on Ebay loose and cheap. Will need to do a serious nose job on the jet though.

I was about to suggest classics jetfire with a new cawckpit (can't spell it correctly due to DAMN censors),since he also has visor on there and shït,but stormjet should work.

ew, armada screamer might make a good jetfire.......

Hmmm, I like both Armada SS and Energon Stormjet. I think i may go with Armada SS incase I want to add Superion to my Classics collection (not to double up molds)

Any other suggetions for the other four, they are not set in stone just yet.

How about repainting a big calculator....Sorry I couldn't resist. :tflaugh :thumb

Anyway,i strongly advise AGAINST armada screamer,he has nothing scattershot-ish.
