Your Favorite TF Storyline

Here is what I would do.

I would use the Classics/Universe figures to re-create a more g1-ish series, or as I suggested in one of my other topics, a series of animated direct to dvd movies.

First thing I would change is adding some much needed depth to the Decepticons as a whole. Especially with Megatron though.

I think I would portray Megatron as more than a Mad bot that's only hellbent on destruction and not much else. There needs to be more to him. I'd even go so far as to make his goals seem almost understandable to a point, but the problem would lie more with his methods.

I would also make it where he is a more effective leader and has the ability to win support not only through fear and intimidation but through winning over the masses. Kind of like Hitler in Nazi Germany.

The Autobots would represent the "old regime" that cybertronians feel have let their race down and kept them from moving forward to bigger things. However, by the time they realize that they've been had by Megatron...it's too late.

So you'd have a Cybertron that has been taken over by an insane dictator and the Autobots as the resistance trying to free their planet while at the same time, it's torn between two ideals.

That way, things are on a more level playing field. You have lots of room for more substance to the stories and a crapload of intrigue.

Earth comes in as the wild card in all of this. Again, possibility up the yin-yang there!

That's where I'd start!
