Anyone else find it sad...

That all the major toy updates we got this week came from Walmart.com and not Transformers.com? :tflaugh1

Nope completely use to it, I don't rely on TFormers for info to be begin with. :redface

Funny in an ironic way...yeah.

Realisticly though, I hardly ever rely on transformers.com for any info. Fantsites are much more efficient...

What makes me sad is the fact that most of the "new" figures are repaints.

New molds: 22

Repaints: 13

retooled: 1

thats not including the combined form of the combiners, kicker or SL Megatron.

SL Megs? So we are getting the 3S Galvy version? Hot.

Transformers just don't seem to be a big mover at my local WalMart; the shelves are literally overflowing with Masterpiece Oppie, Powerlinks Armada repaints, and the wave-one Energons (though we did get the first-run E-Megs/Galvy recently).

It's a shame Toysrus.com / Amazon barely carries a dozen TFs in stock.

its a shame i saw omega supreme at KB toys and not in Toys r Us

i would think if walmart or any store gets exclusive figures, it is the store that pays for the rights to exclusively carry it. so essentially it's walmart supporting hasbro not the other way around. i could be wrong on this but it's the only theory that makes sense.

otherwise i would think hasbro would make different exlusives at the same times for all of the major retail chains just to be fair, not to mention to boost sales of their products in every store. but as we know walmart gets more than it's share of them.

personally i don't care who gets what or why so long as they keep the prices at an affordable level (in other words anyone but toys r us!) and they actually stock their shelves with new ones when they come out.
