I think it looks real nice. Like you said, just like War Within Starscream.

They work for G1 Starscream because he's personally decorated and a flamboyant loundmouth...He would decorate himself in more "regal" colors to represent who he thinks he is...but Armada/Energon Starscream is none of those things. He's just a warrior, nothing more. He realized he has no purpose in life, that's what caused his downfall. There's no reason to take a G1 homage and make it more G1 homage...it's getting old.

But G1 Homages is what 80% of the fandom is asking for, Hasbro's not foolish, they visit boards, they read their E-mail, and they go with the majority, so.... G1 colored E-Starscream

bodycount - right there with you....it shouldn't be done unless Starscream reverts back to his old g1 character style. However, I don't see that happening.

Any who I like Hasbro's more solid color on this Starscream. Shocked cause I usually like takara's color better. I also like Hasbro's Galvatron better.

I dont know how the new bod is gonna work in the comics or cartoon (dont do either) but I think that the repaint is great for folks that were thinking of getting the RM (I have it ordered) but are concerned about its quality. I think that e starscream is about the same size as the RM starscream too (or bigger)

Robot mode looks great. It's the alternate mode who suffers, too much white takes away from the detalis.

If they wanted to make a real homage, they should have made a G1 starscream Ghost homage. That would have been better.
