nah, they just showed the prototypes. they just called it quites really abruptly and everybody was pissed they didn't get grimmy, prowl, and shockwave. we're lucky they got g1 UM out there, which i've yet to find :tfmad

that sucks. wish I knew you needed one. they were pretty easy to find here in the south Jersey area.

I had 2 G1 UM & 2 "The Fallen". I sold my extras already at retail price. after I got my hands on Menasor my 6" Titanium collection was completed. I HAVE THEM ALL!!!!

The Titanium line had potential but sadly many figures are pretty poor.

 

I mean a Beast Wars Optimus Primal with Autobot logo but without Gorilla mode. That is REALLY lame. Had they put a Megatron head on it everyone would have been all over it.

 

Others were badly executed as well such as Soundwave with the odd hips and the first Megatron.

 

I have 3 figures Wer within Prime which is neat, Starscream which is pretty cool as well and The Fallen who kicks ass.

 

But since the bad outweighed the good the line was cancelled.

i knew it has been canceled, but i was hoping for a hasbro photo or something so i could repaint a thundercracker....

Wrong; the others were unpainted protos, but we were showed a finished WW Grimlock and Prowl, fully painted, in and out of package several months ago. They're 100% finished, but they're unlikely to be mass-produced due to Hasbro's asshattery.

i've never heard that from hasbro.... just fan speculation and rumor

Hasbro did say that they hoped to release Prowl and WW Gimlock, but they feared distribution problems. People tend to dump all over Hasbro for this, but guess what, HASBRO DOESN'T STOCK STORE SHELVES!!!

 

The reason people could not find Titaniums wasn't because Hasbro wasn't making, but mass-retailer were not ordering them. Since retailers are not ordering them, Hasbro has no place to send Prowl and Grimlock. Now they may still do an online thing. Or they may get release through the Collector's Club like the long delayed Seacons.
