Alt Rumble: Armed and Dangerous.

Yes, not original, and yes, not difficult, but my first kitbash, so lay off.

Anyhow, I love Alt Rumble. The only thing bothering me is his lack of hands, which I decided to rectify using the arms of an old Gundam figure. It took me a while to decide how to attach the arms and where, but eventually I settled on a final decision. The claws aren't very Rumble-like, but they look nice nonetheless and are easily removable.

Couldn't upload to the board, for some reason, so have some Imageshack.

Anyway, they're unobtrusive in both vehicle and robot mode, but they don't have much mobility. But it's an upgrade from... nothing.

So how are they attached?

Just superglued the rubber polycap from the upper arm of the Gundam to the bumper, and the lower arms can pop right on or off.

Took ten minutes, tops. Only work I did was score the underside of the bumper so my superglue would stick.

Ya know what would make that look better in car mode? Take the muffler off and paint the tips of the new arms grey instant dual exhast pipes.
