can you guys help me out?

 

i need the SKU # off the box of the Masterpiece Starscream that's in the G1 colors. I went to my local walmarts and no one has an F--in' clue what i'm talking about. spent about an hour at each one getting bounced back from Toy Dept to Customer Service to Point to Store, everyone is a freakin' idiot that works there. :redface i had to explain what i wanted to each person, they all had a blank stare of "what is a masterpiece" no.. its not freakin bbq sauce.

 

The assistant manager said if they had a Sku # to look it up on their computers (why they just can't do a word search/item description, i don't Know) they might be of assistance.

pretty much, well, it's off the receipt, the UPC is 6-53569-27551-0

 

but yea, you can see that they just took the 0 off the end and put it on the beginning.

Follow Buddykiller's advice. The receipt is always the best way to find the figure. I forget why they change the codes, but it's for internal use on their systems, something to do with the inventory control.

dude I know just how you feel. I can't tell you how many times I've almost had to dismember wal-mart crack head employees!

I fully believe that over 90% of their labor staff are people who have "turned their lives over to God & no longer use drugs". the only problem is that this lil life style change of theirs comes to little to late, because the dope has already fried what lil brains they had to start with!!!

I think we trans fan should do a formal protest & tell Hasbro to stop letting wal-mart have exclusives because their crack head people can't handle the responsiblity!

Yea, here a full month later still no MP Screamers at my local 3 Walmarts. No Walmart people are not stupid for the most part. The regular employee has no control over what is on their shelves. The department manager is the one to speak to as they can look up MP SS on the Telxon and tell you if they are in the back and just what stores have them. Take it easy on these folks guys.

I don't think anyone truly believes it is the employee's fault for the figures not being there. The fault on the employees is them being absolutely clueless/oblivious to what you're even talking about. Of course, I'm not saying that any single person must memorize what is or isn't on the floor at any given time either, but when they make almost no attempt at all to seem like they even moderately know what you're talking about, then maybe they should be moved to a different department. The only TF figure that any emplyee at any store knows is Bumblebee, and that's because everybody and their dog is looking for him, but if you tell someone you're not looking for Bumblebee, but rather a different figure, they give you a Deer-caught-in-the-headlights look, because they usually don't know what you're even asking.

 

This isn't just true of Walmart, though. A month or two back when I was looking for Dropkick and Recon Barricade at a Toys 'R Us, they had a ton of deluxes lined up on the top shelf. I asked a guy if he could go through them, and he gave me a smirk and said "You lookin' for Bumblebee?" with an obvious "Are you stupid? You should know we don't have that." When I told him no, and mentioned the two I was looking for, he looked at me like I had just punched him in the balls. He didn't know what to do/say.
